Each internet browser has slightly different default settings that need to be checked when printing labels. This article will show you how
Printing labels from different browsers
• Please ensure that your print is always set to 100%. We have diagrams below for all the standard internet browser print settings and marked the important elements.
• Please note – you may need to open the “More Settings” or Printer Settings / Page Setup/Page Layout / Scale etc functions in certain browsers or with certain printers.
To access your label print file
- Login into Aptimyz with your standard browser and Aptimyz credentials
- Select Inventory
- Select Print Jobs
- Either, select View to add any further items to your print job
- Or, select Print to print the file
- Use the following browser-specific instructions to print the labels at 100%.
Chrome
- Select the browser print icon.
- There is a bar along the top of the print image with a preset % showing the print size
- Please ensure this is set to 100%
Microsoft Edge
- Select the browser print button
- An information panel will open to the left of the print job image
- Select More Settings
- Select the box that says 100 (below Actual Size).
- If it doesn't say 100, please overwrite the preset and tick the radio button beside it.
Firefox
- Select the browser print button
- An information panel will open to the right of the print job image
- Check Orientation is correct
- Select More Settings
- Select the box that says Scale (below Fit to page width)
- Please overwrite the preset and tick the radio button beside it.
Safari
- Select the browser print button
- An information panel will open to the right of the print job image
- Check Orientation is correct
- Select the box that says Scale
- Please overwrite the preset with 100.
